Predator Cues Testimonials

Sharing the Predator experience

"Just a short note on how Predator has affected my game. I previously played with another cue brand and, for years, was an APA skill-level 4. Four years ago, I bought my first Predator. It took about two weeks to really get used to it. Three months after buying it, I moved to a skill-level 5 and two months after that, I moved to a 6. I am currently on the verge of being raised to a skill-level 7. I am amazed at how much my game has improved. I wish I could say the change was due to extra practice, but that it is not the case.
The accuracy is incredible, the feel is great and I am extremely satisfied with this cue. My only complaint is that when I do have an off-night, I can no longer blame my cue! "

"I took a long lunch and shot a couple of racks with my new cue stick. I now understand why they are on backorder. It is without question the best shooting pool cue I have ever had measured from initial play. Most others took a few racks to get the feel. Not the Z Sneaky Pete. It is rivaled only by my Willie Hoppe Titleist."

“My name is George and I consider myself a pretty good pool player. I am a computer-systems engineer with a technical background and have a strong knowledge of physics, math, calculus and algebra. I have played with several kinds of cues, [….] being one of the first ones I purchased, then [….], which were good, but after playing with them for 7 years and then trying a new one, I noticed I was too used to the flex on the shaft. Later, when using a friend’s better cue, I could not make a ball – that is when my old cue “accidentally” broke. A friend came in the pool hall one day with a Predator, simple two-piece cue, four points, no wrap, with a 314 shaft. I have read the tech specs in your page about the making of the shafts and it is, according to physics, accurate in the information provided on how the cues are made. I was able to hit a few balls with it and I felt the difference right away, so much that I now own that cue – I bought it from him and I am now looking to upgrade it to another Predator cue. I am a stronger player than I was 7 years ago using the [….] cues.  I am now ranking better in the tournaments. In the local tournaments I am ranked one of the highest and I feel more comfortable and confident about my game and what I can do with it. Thanks, Predator.”

"I have never actively contacted a company to endorse their product. However, after purchasing a SPJLW about two months ago, I had to let you know how I feel. I have played with another cue for approximately 10 years and consider that product to be a good value and a good playable cue. The Predator has taken me to the next level. The first thing I noticed is the Predator wants to go through the cue ball while I found the other cue had me forcing the cue through the stroke. A Predator cue is like power steering for the pool table. Now I find myself using spin and actually placing the cue ball where I intended it to go. It requires little effort to force follow the cue ball and spin it out three rails for shape. I have noticed my speed control has greatly improved and my consistency on thin cuts is truly remarkable. I don't seem to draw any better, but that's my fault — not the cue. The Predator has all but eliminated the frustration of missing shots and not truly knowing why. When I miss now, I can trace it to stance, mechanics, lack of focus, etc. I always felt I could do these shots but the inconsistency of other cues would not allow me to develop confidence in my game. The tool that does allow my skills to show is the Predator. I have always said it is not the cue that makes the player, but these cues let the true player come to the surface. I urge any player, especially beginner and intermediate, to try these cues and if you can spare the extra money, get one. The dividends will come back to you tenfold. "

"The shaft is great! I have hit with a few balls with 314's before. I played 7 hours last night. This is an incredible cue. I needed a cue that I can massé with and feel comfortable knowing that it hits the same every single shot regardless of how you hold it. When you miss a shot with this cue you know what you did wrong. What an incredible design! What a feel, what a hit. Wow! Thanks to all of the Predator Team."

"I consider myself an above average pool player. My game had hit a ceiling. Finally, after dragging my feet for years I decided to purchase a Predator cue. Without a doubt, it was the single best investment I ever made in pool. I am consistently breaking and running more racks then ever before. I am disappointed in only one thing: that I waited so long to purchase my first cue. I will be purchasing a break cue any day now. Thanks for a great pool cue."

"I’m willing to bet that those of you who use Predator products are more than happy with the craftsmanship and performance of your cue. I would like to tell you from personal experience that there is even more to Predator than great looking cues and terrific performance. Recently, I sent my 4K7 to the Predator factory for some warranty work. Nothing major, I just wasn’t quite satisfied. I was hoping they would be fair and take care of me the way their reputation suggests. Predator went beyond fair, and took care of me without question. Everyone I dealt with at Predator was extremely pleasant and helpful and treated me like I was their only customer. I can’t say enough good things about the Predator Company, their products, and their customer service. I have purchased three Predator cues and six Predator shafts over the past several years with only the above mentioned minor complaint. And after the way Predator took care of my complaint, they have a customer for life. Thanks Predator."
