Hard to beat

Love this tip. The soft gives you the right grip, easy to shape, and last like a medium. I’m putting it on all my cues. And the color is a bonus. Definitely hard to beat.

Keep Cue Tip Fresh with new Tip

I prefer not to mix equipment brands if possible. Especially when it come to my cues. So I usually only use Predator tips with my Predator cues. Prefer the Soft. Also like to always have a spare or two around because you never have one when you need one. Once added, plays like original tip.

Outstanding feel and grip!

I've used Black Clear Kamui Soft tips for years. Then my cue guru (Dave Whitsel - San Diego) recommended I try a Predator Victory Soft during my last replacement visit. I WILL NEVER look back! This tip grips the ball better than anything I've experienced. Not just the fresh new tip but also throughout its lifetime til I filed it down to its last possible radius before running into the ferrule! I swear I can feel the contact better as well! Excellent tip!!!

Common Questions About Pool Cue Tips

Soft tips grip the cue ball longer, which makes spin easier, but they wear faster and need more shaping. Hard tips last longer and give a crisper, more consistent hit with slightly less grip, which is why break and jump cues use them. Medium tips balance spin control and durability for most players.

Layered tips are built from thin sheets of leather bonded together, so their density is consistent, and they hold their shape without mushrooming. Solid tips are cut from a single piece of leather and cost less, but they vary more from tip to tip. Most performance tips use layered construction.

Replace your tip when it becomes too thin to shape, hardens, and stops holding chalk, or mushrooms past the ferrule. Players on the table several times a week often replace tips every six to twelve months.

Tip diameter should match your shaft's tip size, measured in millimeters. Most pool shafts fall between about 11.75 and 13 mm. Choose a tip at or slightly above your shaft's size so it can be trimmed flush with the ferrule, and check your shaft's specifications before ordering.
