Hard cue cases are constructed with a rigid protective shell, typically using a hard PVC protection tube or a rigid rectangular box structure. The interior is lined with a soft material to protect your cues. Hard cases protect cues from stronger or heavier shocks than soft cue cases, which are usually chosen for their light weight.
