This was my first time using an extension. The install on my Blak5-5 cue was super easy even for this old man. The weight was a small issue for me. I got the uni loc weight kit so I could take all the weights out of the butt and experiment with tenths of an ounce adjustments until it felt right to me. I think the extension is excellent. I keep it on, but can quickly remove it in a tight spot thanks to uni loc. It works great and looks beautiful to me.
I just received this coco cue extension 8”
The texture looks so natural and shiny, can’t wait to try it tonight after work. Highly recommend

My QR2 cocobolo extension has no cocobolo wood pattern. It looks more like a poor paint job. Not worth $200. I have several high end Predator pool cues. Some of which I purchased directly from Predator website. This one purchase is a disappointment.

The most beautiful piece of cocobolo I've ever seen on a cue. Beware though that it is quite a bit heavier than normal. The extension alone is 4.2 oz, NOT 3.0 oz like the description incorrectly says. This is 35% heavier than the regular black plastic Predator extension, which is 3.1 oz. I find the heavier weight behind my hand stabilizing, and it helps to slow down the cue, and inhibit lateral motion. These are all good things, so mine is on all the time (following the lead of Earl, Shane and Jayson), and it has noticeably improved my long distance accuracy.
Being 6’5”, there aren’t many shots I can’t reach and this extra length eliminates the need for a bridge and even adds accuracy to shots I’d normally have to really stretch or overextend to execute.
Great! Matches mr cocobolo cue
