I love it this is my 3rd predator cue and all have been awesome I have converted a lot of people to play with predator from different types of cues . I have a family of poolplayers my wife and 3 boys and all play with predator cues , we compete at a high level in various tournaments all over and would not play with anything else but predator !!!

I’ve been playing pool for 23 years and—believe me—I’ve played with all kinds of cues, but the first time I tried a Predator, I could feel the difference on the very first shot; excellent quality and a premium finish.

Great shaft! But was disappointed because my upgraded kamui tip fell off within 2 weeks of having itso I had to pay to have another one installed

Not forgiving, but very rewarding.

I switched from an 11.75mm wooden shaft to the 11.8mm carbon fiber Revo, and it resulted in a noticeable boost in my overall game. At this diameter, carbon fiber simply feels more consistent and predictable than wood.

The downside is that it demands discipline. You have to focus on tip placement on every shot—any bit of laziness will absolutely show up in your results. Long shots can also feel more challenging at first. That said, this isn’t unique to the Revo; it’s a reality of any small-diameter shaft.

The upside is exceptional cue-ball control and the sheer amount of spin you can generate. If you put in the time to master it, the payoff is huge and very rewarding.

Another major advantage is DURABILITY. I specifically bought this shaft so I could leave it in my truck year-round—in TEXAS heat. Since 2022, it’s held up flawlessly and continues to perform exactly as it should.

Invest in a good product.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the 11.8mm Revo. We love hearing how it has positively impacted your game and that you’re enjoying the consistency, control, and durability it offers.

While carbon fiber shafts are built for increased stability and performance, we generally recommend avoiding leaving cues or shafts inside a vehicle for extended periods of time. Extreme temperatures can still affect certain components over time.

To help protect your investment and keep your cue performing at its best, storing it in a temperature controlled environment is always the safest option.

We truly appreciate your support and are glad the Revo has been a great addition to your game.

Best shaft for any player

I absolutely love the 12.9 Revo shafts as it provides ease and excellence on the pool table. I have been playing with it for roughly 3 years now and can say there is no other shaft that is like my revo!

Revo 11.8mm CF shaft

The Revo CF shafts are very good, probably the best out there, and I've tried many. Unfortunately, they are also extremely overpriced in my opinion. So, when a defect in materials or workmanship crops up, you'd expect that it would be handled to your satisfaction because their profit margins are so huge. But it isn't. The silencer (V-tec) pad on my friend's Revo shaft popped off. I wrote to the Predator Group seeking to have the shaft repaired or replaced under warranty. I was specific about what happened to the shaft (see attached photo) using the description box on their warranty claims page. In their reply, they said that playing tips were a wear item. Who said anything about playing tips? They completely ignored the issue and deflected any responsibility for a known defect on this shaft. Buy with caution, knowing this may happen to you. Otherwise, I am very happy with the performance of this shaft.

Jeff,

Thank you for your review! Our REVO shafts are handmade at our facility in Jacksonville, Florida, and each one requires a great deal of craftsmanship. We also invest more in research and development than any other billiards company to ensure we’re creating the best products possible. That level of precision and innovation is why our shafts are priced the way they are.

Please have your friend reach out to us directly, as we’d love the opportunity to make sure they have a positive experience with our products.

My preferred size and length, it's perfection!

I currently have 6 Revo shafts I think, 4 uniloc, 1 radial, and 1 5/16x14. This is my first true duplicate though after settling on the 12.4 30" as my preferred size. This time I did try it with a different tip though, Kamui medium, and I really like it! Much firmer hit but I feel like it's maybe a bit more consistent on draw shots. Sometimes with the Victory soft I'd go for a 2' draw and end up with a 5' draw instead. Now that I've really dialed in on the shaft size I like I'm going to get a third one next time they're in stock with a Victory Medium. I like the firmer hit of the Kamui but I really like the look and the way the Victory takes chalk and shapes a little better. I hope they come back in stock again soon.

Silencer and Tip broke off within one month

Played great for the month that I had it until the entire tip and silencer popped off mid game. Now I have to send it back in, but knowing Predator they will find a way to void my warranty.

Hello Deven,

Thank you for your feedback! Please contact Customer Service at Customerservice@Predatorgroup.com to initiate a claim.

Kind regards,

Worth the wait

After a year of working my P3 Revo 12.4 both in the APA and local tourneys...I felt my skills had progressed enough to put an 11.8 Revo to good use. Great move! I'm making longer runs with better cue ball control than ever. I'm an APA 3 n I just skunked an APA 5 in 8 ball tonight 2-0 n the cue felt amazing ????.

I cant Imagine shooting with anything else. if you are thinking about a Revo, you should get it. you will not be disappointed.

Super smooth

I bought two of these shafts and they are exactly perfect to each other. The shaft is smooth as glass. I hesitated buying these, because I thought I would be forced to wear a glove. NO GLOVE IS NEEDED FOR THIS SHAFT

Slightly disappointed

I am a huge fan of the revo shaft and the performance is fantastic but this particular shaft that I ordered from predator cues I feel like the finish is not very smooth and the tip was shaped down a little too much when I first received it and has not lasted me very long. It's only been a month or so and I'm down to my last layer on the tip. The shaft itself constantly has to be wiped down and I do wear a predator glove and I just don't understand why the finish isn't as smooth as all my friends Revo shafts.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the situation you are having with the shaft. A member of our customer service team will be in contact with you shortly regarding this issue. Kind Regards, Predator Cues

awesome

First impressions: It's Perfect! Silky smooth, the 12.4 allows me to use a closed bridge even with my sausage fingers. Minimal transition from shooting my 314-3 shaft, but also a noticeable difference in feel. Way to go, Predator!

Power

This shaft is exactly as I expected it would be. Powerful! I run a Kumuai original hard tip. I also own the other diameters available, 12.4 and 11.8. The 12.9 is by far my favorite of the three. Although the others offer plenty of spin and speed advantages, I feel the consistency of the 12.9 offers a level of confidence that is essential for big games. The power it provides allows me to play punches and stuns at a much more consistent rate and allows me to, not only be more accurate, but to get to the rail on tougher stuns and punches in the center of the table. I am currently playing my REVO on my Lucasi lux 29 as I play on a bar box league as well as tournaments. For larger tables I prefer the Predator SP2 Tuxedo as it is easier to equalize my weighting with my extensions.

Amazing

Revo uniloc 12.4 30in shaft

You really don't realize how useful the extended length is until you use it. Being a little bit taller I'm always grabing the far back of the cue butt and it is really nice to have the extra length. The revo shaft is very smooth. I've only had this shaft for 2 weeks now and only practicing with it I will not go back to anything but the revo shafts. I have shot a few games tryng out the revo it had a black plate I do like the white vault plate better. Cannot wait till league starts and tournaments.
