Pool Shaft Comparison
Choosing the right shaft affects accuracy, feel, and forgiveness. Your ideal choice depends on your skill level, material preference, and tip diameter.
Tip diameter and skill level:
- Smaller diameters (11.8 – 12.0 mm) offer more spin and precision but require experience and consistency.
- Larger diameters (12.5 – 12.9 mm) are more forgiving and easier to play with.

Dear Glenn,
Thanks for your feedback!
The Predator P3 Revo USPBS red pool cue was available for sale in the US on our website and through our Predator Authorized dealers, but it is now retired.
Keep an eye out for future P3 releases.
The cue feel very solid, thick and satisfying. Especially on draw shots. The cueball spins and controls are amazing with Carbon fiber shaft such as Revo and cutec cynergy. The cylindrical body is a bit thicker than the other predator cues. It takes some times to get used to it. But once you do, the cue is addictive to shoot with. This one is more technically satisfying than the BLAK4 which is more aesthetically appealing

Let me just say, this cue has changed my game. I got it at 18.5 oz and the 11.8 with soft tip. The grip and control of the cue ball is incredible. Even with a soft touch or a hard hit the cue ball has great action. All I can say is that after shooting with a lesser cue, with this cue I am wondering what deflection is. I would highly recommend this cue.
Offered early access for cue but 11.8 REVO not available. Need to order unwanted configuration to take advantage of VIP offer? Are you kidding me? Not feeling like a VIP. Customer service no help either.
Hello Scott,
Thanks for your review.
We truly appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how frustrating it is to be offered early access only to find that your preferred configuration, the 11.8 REVO, is unavailable.
Our VIP offers are meant to reward and thank our loyal customers, not create added frustration. Inventory on high-demand items like the 11.8 can be limited, especially during early access periods, but we agree this shouldn’t leave you feeling like your options are restricted.
We’ve passed your concerns along to the appropriate team, and we’d like to help make this right. If you'd like, we can notify you when the 11.8 becomes available or look into possible alternatives that better suit your preferences.
Thanks again for your patience and for being part of the VIP community.
I played with few different brands of cues on the market, and as usual there were something not quite there, until I tried predator p3 . Mind-blowing performance and cue ball controls is spot on. Right out of the box took it to the tournament and destroyed my opponent. There is only one regret I didn't get it sooner.
Predator customer service team did an exceptional service delivering it in timely manner. Extremely pleased with everything will be changing my all cues to predator brand.
Кий проÑто замечательный, рекомендую вÑем.
Great balance, Wonderful looking cue, very stylish, the Carbon accents are a great touch on this cue!
This is by far the best cue I've ever shot with. It's so smooth and the hit is phenomenal! Took my game to the next level, that's for sure.

Excellent design
Great feel and tip. Hands down the nicest cue I've ever used. Predator was very fast with delivery. Shipped to my door in under a week.
Beautiful cue smooth silk like design plays really well
This is my first Predator cue and I love it, minimalistic and elegant design. Regarding its performance, no words, it is only superb! Solid hit and perfect balance. Even though I bought it with a Revo 12.4, I'm playing happily with a Vantage shaft. By the way, I want to thank Predator customer service which answered all my questions before my purchase.
Thank you!
I bought this butt primarily because I had a P3 Racer 2 Wrapless that had to be replaced under warranty and this butt also has the carbon collar.
This cue is absolutely fantastic and hits better than most of the other Predator cues I've owned.
It is really a very beautiful cue. I really like the Uni-Loc QR. I’m having some trouble playing with the 314-3 shaft, I have to get used to it because I’ve been playing with another type of cues for 30 years.
Absolutely love this cue! Got it with the 8-inch extension, which is a nice add-on. The quick release connections are certainly not a requirement, but are a nice touch and convenience.
The butt actually has a bit of a metallic type flake to it. Very subtle and I was not even aware of it from the pictures. My impression was that butt was pure deep black, but in person it has a very slight metallic flake look, which was surprisingly attractive.
Love that it is understated. I'm not really into wild designs on a cue. I love playing with a cue that no one else really has a clue about unless they really know their equipment. This thing looks like something Darth Vader would use. Lol. But you can walk into any pool hall with this and no one is going to look twice. Personally, I like that.
The Revo shaft is fantastic. Tried it with a 12.9 and a 12.4 and the 12.4 is phenomenal. It's a perfect balance between power and control. Victory tips are every bit as good as any Kamui tip I've ever used.
The balance point of the cue seems perfect and enables me to play with the extension on full-time. I was worried the extra weight of the extension would negatively affect my shot, but in fact it helps. It seems that little bit of extra weight at the back of the queue helps steady my shot a bit (at least it does for me). And popping the extension off is super quick and easy with the quick release joint. Just a great setup and design.
If you want to treat yourself and you prefer a more subtle look, look no further than the P3.
I paid to have the cue tip changed when ordered. The cue arrived 8 days after order and the tip was not adhered to the shaft. I contacted customer service and they were less than apologetic. I now have sent the shaft back and expect to get it in another month. I offered a very reasonable solution, but Predator was not interested. When you spend $1500for an item and it arrives unusable the company should treat you better. I will go back to Cutec where I have had no issues.
It’s awesome waited a year to finally find one and it’s worth it..
GREAT CUE!
amazing cue
I have purchased 4 cues this year prior to the P3. Most costs more. When I picked up the P3 it just felt right, I always heard that they make a "tink" sound with a Revo shaft but mine sounds almost like wood. It shoots great and is now my go to cue. It lives up to the hype.
